The storyline featured a past Olympic athlete, Erica Witter-Davis, who competed as a sprinter in the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Before the games, she thought her dreams of competing would come apart at the seams due to a leg injury. Fast forward years later, Witter-Davis was motivated to pursue a career in chiropractic and now practices in California.
